    [ID: A digital illustration in portrait orientation featuring Dazai Osamu and Nakahara Chuuya from the series Bungou Stray Dogs. The designs of both characters indicate that they are in their teenage years; Dazai is facing the viewer but staring into the middle distance with his visible left eye as his right eye is characteristically bandaged. His expression is largely neutral, but a downturned eyebrow unveils a deeper feeling of quiet anger. With his left hand he is embracing Chuuya who has his back to the viewer, face concealed by his thick ginger hair. Chuuya’s visible right hand is reaching up to grasp Dazai’s shoulder, and bears the blazing red mark of ‘Corruption’. The painting is highly stylised, integrating graphic cel-shading with abstract expressionism. The two boys are shaded by a dark blue which is also reflected in the background, along with a lighter blue which simultaneously surrounds the figures – a representation of Dazai’s ability ‘No Longer Human’. Vibrant red stripes of paint dance over the image along with dashes of teal and flecks of yellow – a colour also featured in geometric shapes flowing throughout the image.
